dc.description.abstract This study examines the influence of communication tools on industrial conflict management handling styles with particular reference to state owned universities in south west Nigeria. The study adopted the descriptive research survey design of the ex post facto type. Human behaviour is interpreted in modern times through theories particularly when such behaviour falls within the parameter of social activities directly or indirectly influencing groups of people. Human activities in organisations are influenced by personal convictions which run contrary at times leading to disagreement between parties concerned. en_US
