The paper analyses the concepts of government systems transformation in a state. These concepts are change, development, modernisation, and globalisation. The paper focuses on factors for promoting change and those that are against it. It continues to analyse various fields of development, and development problems. As far as modernisation is concerned the paper explains the characteristics of modernisation, and the problems of this development theory. The paper will also discuss the importance of globalisation, its advantages and disadvantages. The researcher uses the qualitative and the deductive and inductive data analysis method. The paper will also come up with possible solutions and recommendations on change, development, modernisation and globalisation. |
