Nowadays, smartphones represent the fastest technology accepted and utilized by humans. The utilization of mobile devices (m-devices) has revolutionized communication, and existing literature suggests that the successful implementation of mobile learning (m-learning) depends on teachers' willingness to embrace new technologies for teaching and learning. In this study, the researchers conceptualized a model informed by the related theoretical frameworks through an extensive literature review (content analysis). Constructs from the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) model were explored in designing the model. A quantitative research approach was adopted, and a closed-ended questionnaire was distributed. A total of 145 completed responses were used after thorough data cleaning. Data analysis (reliability test, descriptive analysis, correlation analysis, and regression analysis) was done using the Statistical Package for Social Scientists (SPSS) version 25. The findings highlighted that performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, perceived usefulness, and perceived ease of use are the most critical factors that may influence the acceptance of mobile learning in Ekurhuleni Municipality secondary schoolsen_US
