Abstract
A king is a caretaker and mediator in the nation, he is worthy of the praises. Those praises becomes useful to us as a nation, to teach us about our kings. This increases respect and complete love from the nation to the king. When we know our king, we understand where we come from, which becomes an important step that makes us to understand where we are going. We then end up all celebrating our culture.
In this research, we will look and the poetry that is praising Kings of Moutse in the district of Sekhukhune in the Local municipality of Elias Motsoaledi. We will look at the praise poems of the following kings; Kgoši Shikwane Matlala, Kgoši Boleu Rammupudu II and Kgoši Mohlamme Mathebe III.
